Product Description:

Sibutril 15mg is used in combination with a reduced calorie diet and exercise to help people who are overweight lose weight and maintain their weight loss. Sibutril is in a class of medications called appetite suppressants. It works by acting on appetite control centers in the brain to decrease appetite. Sibutril 15mg has the same composition as famous Meridia 15mg.
Sibutril is an orally administered agent for the treatment of obesity. Chemically, the active ingredient is a racemic mixture of the (+) and (-) enantiomers of cyclobutanemethanamine, 1-(4-chlorophenyl)-N,N-dimethyl-a -(2-methylpropyl)-, hydrochloride, monohydrate, and has an empirical formula of C17H29Cl2NO. Its molecular weight is 334.33.
Sibutril is used in the management of obesity by increasing the amount of neurotransmitters serotonin and norepinephrine. Sibutril inhibits the re-uptake of these neurotransmitters by the nerve cells and alters the balance of neurotransmitters within the nerve cells. Unlike other diet drugs (fenfluramine, dexfenfluramine) which increase release of these neurotransmitters from the cells, the action of Sibutril is similar to anti-depressants (fluoxetine) which inhibit reuptake of serotonin.
How does Sibutril 15mg work?
Sibutril 15mg works by increasing the levels of certain chemicals allowed to freely act on the brain, which causes a substantial reduction in both hunger and food cravings amongst patients. Theese effects are thanks to the medications active ingredient Sibutramine, which causes an increase in the production of noradrenaline and serotonin, both of which affect the satiety centre of the brain, known as the hypothalamus. This enhances the feeling of fulfilment from eating, and so makes you feel satisfied after eating less food which reduces a patient’s calorie intake to below that of which the body needs to function, causing the body to use fat stores and reserves which results in weight loss. Sibutril has also been shown to prevent the fall in basal metabolic rate (BMR), which often accompanies efforts to lose weight. A reduction in metabolic rate often makes it more difficult to lose weight and is a survival technique employed by the body which results in less calories being used and more being stored so by helping to sustain this rate it is possible to achieve optimum weight loss whilst using this treatment.
What are the most common side effects of Sibutril 15mg?
Like all medications, Sibutril 15mg can cause some side effects. These are more likely to occur early on, within the first four weeks, of taken the medication and will usually subside over the course of treatment. The side effects experienced by those taking Sibutril 15mg are generally mild in severity and rarely cause patients to cease taking their course of the medication. The most common side effects of Sibutril 15mg are constipation, dry mouth and problems with sleeping. However, it is important to note that the vast majority of patient's will not have any experience with side effects whilst taking this medication.
